Scholarships for Veterans is a not-for-profit, non-partisan, non-political organization dedicated to making scholarships available to recent veterans. Our purpose is to promote and encourage veterans, who might not be able to afford an education, to return to college through this scholarship program. In order to assist more future veterans, we must ask for continued financial support.
One hundred percent (100%) of all donations go directly into the Scholarship for Veterans fund there are no administrative fees taken. Donations are tax deductible and you will receive a tax statement directly from the Foothill-De Anza Community College District Foundation.
We are serious about providing financial support for our veterans interested in attending Foothill or De Anza College and hope you are serious in assisting us. We have been able to award scholarships between $1,000 each of the past seven years. Please help us support more veterans to get a college education.

TESLA MOTORS
Tesla Motors is breaking the mold and paving the path to change the way the world looks not only at alternative energy vehicles, but also at the paradigm of human transportation. Our zero tailpipe emission products do not compromise on performance, luxury, nor utility. Neither do we compromise on the people that make our products happen.
Tesla Motors is committed to hiring and developing the top engineers in any given discipline. Our world-class engineering teams operate with a non-conventional automotive product development philosophy of high inter-disciplinary collaboration, flat organizational structure and technical contribution at all levels. You will be expected to challenge and be challenged, to create, to innovate. These jobs are not for everyone.
- You must have a genuine passion for engineering electric vehicles. Without passion, you would find what we're trying to do too difficult. There are much easier jobs.
- You must want to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company.
- We are building real products -- not presentations. This must excite you. You must be a builder.
We offer a competitive salary, meaningful stock ownership, health benefits, a fun work environment and the chance to make a real contributory impact on the world.

De Anza College CDI CAD Event and SolidWorks users group
The afternoon Workshop Sessions by GoEngineer and SolidWorks were attended by 50 individuals and was a great success.
The evening main session was attended by 100 participants and the State of the Industry Q and A provided vital information for the local engineering community. SME provided information on their organization and SolidWorks previewed their 2012 software.
