The company is backed by prominent Venture capitalists and is located in Santa Clara , CA . The objective of the company is to produce solar cells at a lower cost than current silicon solution which are available in the market today. Miasolé has a few select openings for experienced design/drafter professionals in our 100,000 square foot production facility. Position Responsibilities:
- Design, development and implementation of high volume manufacturing systems that includes but not limited to:
- High speed pick and place automation
- Robotics
- Pneumatics
- Control systems
- Position sensors
- Lamination
- Material handling

- Converting Equipment
- Vision systems

- Design and develop manufacturing system layouts, schematics and drawings using SolidWorks
- Create and release product and equipment specifications
- Create detailed drawings from engineering created models or from original designs
- Release drawings into the production PDM system
- Utilize GD&T; dimensioning standards on final drawings
- Review and engineering documentation
Educational/Experience Requirements:
- B.S or Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 8+ years of drafting and design experience in SolidWorks
Skill Requirements:
- Demonstrates high level of proficiency in the creation of models and drawing using SolidWorks
- Ability and willingness to work hands-on
- Able to work in an extremely high paced and aggressive environment
- Ability and willingness to keep to a schedule and do what it takes to satisfy a deadline
- Desired proficiency in AutoCAD, PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Word, and Excel

Job Description: A small unit of a rapidly growing specialized equipment manufacturer is seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer to join their rapidly growing team. The Senior Mechanical Designer will be responsible for the layout and design of products using design standards based upon the specifications of customers, engineers and current manufacturing guidelines along with issuing completed drawing packages to manufacturing units for fabrication and reviewing current project statuses. Furthermore, Senior Mechanical Designer will be responsible for maintaining and growing in both knowledge of the company and the company's current applicable products. The Senior Mechanical Designer would be working on moderately complicated mechanical design tasks and would be expected to execute on certain assigned projects. The qualified Senior Mechanical Designer must have 5-10 years experience as either a Mechanical Designer or Senior Mechanical Designer. This candidate should have an Associate Degree in Drafting Design, Engineering Design or the equivalent. Candidate will have experience and understanding in different CAD systems with updated experience/knowledge and proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and/or Solidworks.
