The Company:
Miasolé is opening the door to global-scale, cost effective solar power by developing thin film solar modules using CIGS. The company is backed by prominent Venture capitalists and is located in Santa Clara , CA . The objective of the company is to produce solar cells at a lower cost than current silicon solution which are available in the market today. Miasolé has a few select openings for experienced design/drafter professionals in our 100,000 square foot production facility. Successful candidates will have demonstrated the ability to perform in a fast paced environment.
Position Responsibilities:
- Design, development and implementation of high volume manufacturing systems that includes but not limited to:
- High speed pick and place automation
- Robotics
- Pneumatics
- Control systems
- Position sensors
- Lamination
- Material handling
- Fluid dispensing
- Vibration
- Converting Equipment
- Vision systems
- Conveyors
- Lasers
- Design and develop manufacturing system layouts, schematics and drawings using SolidWorks
- Create and release product and equipment specifications
- Create detailed drawings from engineering created models or from original designs
- Release drawings into the production PDM system
- Utilize GD&T dimensioning standards on final drawings
- Review and engineering documentation
Educational/Experience Requirements:
- B.S or Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 8+ years of drafting and design experience in SolidWorks
Skill Requirements:
- Demonstrates high level of proficiency in the creation of models and drawing using SolidWorks
- Ability and willingness to work hands-on
- Able to work in an extremely high paced and aggressive environment
- Ability and willingness to keep to a schedule and do what it takes to satisfy a deadline
- Desired proficiency in AutoCAD, PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Word, and Excel
