Most of the projects we tackle involve tight integration of electronic and mechanical systems and this role requires the ability to interact with interdisciplinary resources and a proven ability to document and present your work. All of our consulting engineers interface with our clients so good communication skills are essential.

The ideal candidate would have a B.S., M.S. or PhD in Mechanical Engineering and minimum 10 years experience in the following areas:
- Hands-on experience on interdisciplinary teams resulting in a proven track record in the process of bringing new products into production.
- Complete product life cycle experience - architecture, engineering, transfer manufacturing, and stringent QA goals
- Knowledgeable in architecting, designing, documenting, and manufacturing of mid to high volume complex consumer and/or medical products.
- Experience bringing new products into production including: examples of work involving industrial design, electrical design and manufacturing specialists to optimize a product solution.
- Demonstrated familiarity in manufacturing processes such as injection molding, die casting, and sheet metal stamping
- Strong working use of analytical techniques to support part and system level designs including basic calculations, structural Finite Element Analysis, and Thermal Analysis
- Working experience with quality control procedures including ISO 9000.
- 3-D solid modeling experience in Pro /Engineer Wildfire and Solidworks
